TWI Corporation, founded in 1999, located in Northern California originally operated as a technology company in IT, and as a research and development firm at that time.  In addition to developing and implementing many web based cloud software solutions in healthcare, in 2004, TWI began a relationship with Virginia Tech University professors and scientist in the field of skincare to develop and introduce new innovations in topical formulations that would provide similar anti-aging benefits (longer results timetable) to injected methods like Botox® (Botox alternatives).  Worked with the partner of Nobel Prize winning micro-biologist, Dr. Martin Rodbell, and his studies regarding bio-chemical messages effectively passing through cellular walls to increase absorption and efficiency of active ingredients like peptides.  Under various brands, we introduced various skincare products that were very successful in foreign markets until the recession of 2007.   Focus shifted back to our core technology business until late 2015 when we reinitiated skincare research and development under the MiraSkin brand seeking a more simplified skincare regiment, targeting the professional and medical markets.
